Community resource for Japanese language and culture. Has a good little library with lots of book to assist you with learning Japanese. Plus novels in Japanese and English. Hosts language classes. Occasionally has workshops and film screenings. Has a very good Japanese style display garden.Friendly staff. Sadly, it is scheduled to close in 2023.

Grandsons were so excited to sit in the garden, look at the displays and select some books. We joined up to give support to this very worthwhile cultural centre. Thank you for transporting us for 2 hours.

Hyogo Cultural Centre is such a welcoming space, and me and my family really feel like we've found another home here. The staff are so lovely and helpful, always willing to have a chat and help me with my Japanese. They have an excellent library, of which we take full advantage; they run lots of fun, cultural events; and the space is calm and comfortable.Since becoming a member, I've also joined the Thursday conversation classes, and this combined with access to resources and the helpful staff means my Japanese abilities have improved a lot in just a year.I couldn't recommend Hyogo Cultural Centre more highly, especially for anyone wanting learn more about Japan.
